The Center of the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan was established in 2020
- To maintain communication and conduct joint work with the Republican Association of Chairs of the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan "Shanyrak".
- To assist in the organization and conduct of educational, social, cultural and mass events of the university departments.
- Support the organization of cultural and mass events to implement the idea of "Mangilik el".
- To carry out work on the formation of a civil position among students, the ability to work and act in the conditions of modern civilization and democracy, to educate students in the spirit of patriotism of their homeland.
- Direct participation in the work of the Regional Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan.
- Active participation in the implementation of the ethno-demographic policy of Kazakhstan.

Functions
- Organization of current and long-term planning of the center's work. 
- Holding  meetings of the center on planned and current issues of methodological work of the center and educational work of students.   
- Monitoring and coordination of the work plans of the center, programs for the development of the center.
- Organization of the research work of the center, review of theses and dissertations,
- Management of the research work of students.
- Organization of discussion, completed research works, and publication of their results.  Providing an opportunity to publish the results of scientific works achieved by the center. 
- Participation in the research work of the center.
- Study and dissemination of the experience of the center's employees.
- Providing methodological assistance to new employees of the center.
- Establishing contacts with educational institutions and other organizations in order to provide scientific and methodological assistance.
- Provision and participation in the international activities of the university.
- Participation in professional development and in mastering the skills and professional qualities of the center's employees.
- Control over the implementation of  employees of the center with the rules of occupational health and safety, industrial, sanitary and fire safety.
- Organization of cultural events and historical traditional meetings in the field of maintaining and implementing the policy of the state and the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan.
- The collection and processing of information on educational work based on the materials of republican, regional, interregional, university conferences, seminars.
- Assistance in the organization of educational, social, cultural and mass events of the departments, support in the organization of cultural mass events to implement the idea of "Mangilik el".
- Maintaining communication with the secretariat of the Regional Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan.
- Maintaining communication and working with the Republican Association of Departments of the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan.
- Participation in seminars and conferences organized by the Republican Association of Departments of the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan.
- Working with university students to preserve tolerance and ensure dialogue on interethnic relations.
- Participation in cultural events organized by the institutes of the university in the field of preserving tolerance and unity of the people of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
- Organization and holding of lectures for university students according to the approved plan in the field of ethnopolitics and the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan.
- Preparation of a report and documentation on the work done by the center.
- Performing other functions assigned by the University management.
